Long term care workers to protest proposed contract rollbacks at Cassellholme long term care

NORTH BAY Health care and support workers, represented by Local 146 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), will hold an information picket in front of Cassellholme long term care facility, on Wednesday, July 7th, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., to protest attempts by their employer to reduce their benefits and gut their collective agreement by sending concession demands to arbitration. The protest is timed to coincide with a barbecue of the Board of Directors.
