TORONTO Toronto Public Library Workers will make a presentation to the Library Board at 5:00 pm today, at Toronto City Hall, in Committee Room B. The presentation will address two key issues, gapping and wage harmonization, which affect service delivery in Toronto Public Libraries. Gapping occurs when employees who leave are not replaced. Library workers have still not had their wages harmonized, leading to wage disparities. Employee morale and service levels have been affected by the lack of harmonization and increased workload from understaffing.
