Leonard Gallant was elected as Regional Vice-President for Prince Edward Island in July 2019, and has served as division president since 2018.
Leonard has been an active trade unionist as a health care worker since the 1990s, including over a decade as the President of CUPE 1779. He has also worked to guarantee workers’ retirement security through his work with provincial and national pension committees.
