Toronto – Mr. Justice Gans of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice will announce his decision on Friday, April 19th at
10:00 am
as to whether the provincial government has the legal authority to sell Hydro One. Two unions, the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) took the government to court last week arguing that they do not have the legal right to privatize the province’s electricity grid.

After his announcement CUPE and CEP will be available for comment:
