On August 3, enjoy family flicks with Councillor McConnell and CUPE 416 - Ward 28 Councillor and City of Toronto Outside Workers present free outdoor showing of  ‘The Lorax’ in St. James Town
  

The Toronto Civic Employees Union, Local 416 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 416), in cooperation with Ward 28 Councillor Pam McConnell, will co-host a family-friendly outdoor movie night, this Friday, August 3, at 8:15 p.m. in the courtyard behind 275 Bleecker Street. 

To provide a community entertainment experience in an area cared for by Local 416 members, Councillor McConnell and CUPE 416 will present a free showing of the beloved Dr. Seuss classic, ‘The Lorax’. All residents need to bring is a lawn chair or a blanket. Local 416 will also provide unlimited free snow cones and popcorn to children of all ages! 

WHO:  Pam McConnell (Councillor, Ward 28), Members of CUPE Local 416, and the residents of St. James Town 

WHAT: A night of family-friendly outdoor entertainment, featuring a movie, snow cones and popcorn 

WHEN: Friday, August 3, at 8:15 p.m. 

WHERE: The courtyard behind 275 Bleecker Street in St. James Town (look for the big outdoor screen)
