Local Solutions for B.C. Municipalities

BURNABY— Barry O’Neill, president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees B.C. Division (CUPE BC), will be touring the Lower Mainland Feb. 9-12. He will be speaking at free public meetings on:

  • the high cost of P3s and privatization;
  • the need for communities to have a strong local economy;
  • the importance of buying and hiring locally;
  • why we trust local government to provide infrastructure and services more than we trust other levels of government.
