CUPE’s on-line inflation calculator is now up-to-date with 2008 inflation figures.

This handy tool allows users to calculate changes in the annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) for every province and major city in Canada for all the years that are available. The CPI is the most widely used measure of inflation in Canada.  It can be used to see if your wages are keeping up with increases in the general cost-of-living.
