NIAGARA FALLS — Hundreds of CUPE activists attending their annual Ontario convention will demonstrate against public private partnerships (P3s) at the constituency office of Niagara Falls Liberal MPP Kim Craitor tomorrow (Thursday, May 26) at 12:30 p.m.

Dalton McGuinty and his government have decided to build new infrastructure by allowing private corporations to own and operate it,” said CUPE Ontario President Sid Ryan. “And they’re trying to use our pension money to do it. We say, no way, never, it’s not on.”

Tomorrow’s demonstration will kick off a campaign that CUPE members will take to every riding where there is a Liberal MPP to make their case for keeping public services publicly owned, publicly controlled and publicly accountable, Ryan said.
