(Halifax) – Instructional Support Staff with the Halifax Regional School Board will hold an information picket at the Board’s head offices in Dartmouth tomorrow evening, November 28.
The members of CUPE Local 108 will hand out flyers from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm at 90 Alderney Drive, prior to the Board’s monthly meeting.
Local 108 represents more than 700 HRSB employees, who are Educational Program Assistants (EPA’s), Library Support Staff and Student Support Workers.
CUPE and the HRSB are currently in contract talks and the Board has tabled a number of concessions, including more cuts to 100% positions.
