Rally for seniors’ care at Katherine Whittred’s office, 10:00 a.m. today
Residents and their families from the North Shore’s Capilano Care Centre and Cedarview Lodge and members of the Hospital Employees’ Union (CUPE) will visit long-term care minister Katherine Whittred’s constituency office at 10:00 a.m. today.
They will be gathering to “just say no” to theCampbell Liberals’ efforts to cut seniors’ care beds and close residential facilities on the North Shore without public consultation, resident and family input and a clear explanation of where displaced seniors will end up.
