In the days before the People’s Summit, on February 6 and 7, CUPE health care workers from across the country are coming together to protect our jobs and strengthen resistance to for-profit delivery. They’ll share strategies and tactics, victories and lessons learned and they’ll plan the next stages of CUPE’s campaign to defend public health care.
In plenary sessions and workshops organized by sub-sector, front line health care workers and those working behind the scenes will have a chance to discuss urgent issues they’re dealing with in their workplaces and communities.
They’ll also have an opportunity to build solidarity, exchange ideas and develop strategies to support provincial and national efforts to strengthen public health care.
Health care locals can register online at http://www.cupe.ca/campaigns/healthcare/register.asp for the health care conference, the People’s Summit or both. Don’t delay. Register today.
