The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and Saskatchewan Government and General Employees Union (SGEU) have been in contract negotiations with the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO) for over a year.

The workers are employed in a variety of classifications including: special care aides and dietary staff, licensed practical nurses, technicians and technologists, housekeeping, laundry, clerical and maintenance.
