Fort Erie, Ontario, employees have negotiated a new contract which includes a rise of 6.5 per cent for wages and benefits over three years.
The 65 full-time office and outside workers are members of Local 714. At the end of the agreement the average hourly rate will be $17.45.
The president of the local is Chris Pisaric. The National Representative working with the local is Maureen Matthews.
