MONCTON – The employees of LaidLaw Educational Services in Moncton will vote on their first collective agreement Wednesday.

CUPE Local 4694 reached a Tentative Collective Agreement late Friday. Negotiations began in January 2005. Earlier this year, a Conciliation Officer was named to help the two parties to reach a tentative agreement.

CUPE Local 4694 represents 40 School Bus Drivers, Mechanics, Charter Coordinators and Driver Development Safety Officers.

The tentative agreement is for a 5-year period.
