The first ever outside evaluation of a CUPE program is described by the evaluator as a ‘good news story’. The Summary Report uses charts to look at each program activity. It then assesses the impact of the program both inside and outside the union and pulls out lessons learned. The report also makes 25 recommendations including suggestions for the future of the literacy program. The appendix describes four examples of literacy and clear language programs in CUPE Locals.
