(Halifax) – Teaching Assistants and Part-Time Instructors at Dalhousie University have reached a tentative agreement with the University.

CUPE National Representative, Peter Baxter, says, “While we can’t release any details at the moment, we can say that the negotiating committee is recommending acceptance of this new contract.”

Details of the package will be presented to Dalhousie members of Local 3912 at a ratification meeting to take place sometime in early June.

Of the three Universities where CUPE represents employees, as part of Local 3912, Mount Saint Vincent is the only one that has yet to negotiate a new contract.
