Employee group benefit plan premium renewals take place in January of each year. This year we are happy to report that there will be no premium increases in 2004 for coverage under provincial health care plans in B.C. or Alberta, the group life insurance coverage, or for the Extended Health and Dental Care Plan coverage administered by Green Shield Canada.
Premiums for the extended health care coverage insured by SSQ Financial for our Quebec employees, will increase by 8 per cent. This will increase our costs for 2004 by approximately $39,000.
