Later today the federal government will release its annual budget. The Finance Minister will release the budget at 4:00 pm on March 22.
CUPE will respond very quickly with a news release and an overview and analysis of key measures announced in the budget. These will be posted as soon as possible to cupe.ca/budget-2011 and scfp.ca/budget-2011.
Meanwhile, research staff will be preparing budget analysis in key policy areas like health, environment and privatization. These will be prepared overnight and posted later on March 23.
