Under the banner Perverse privatization plan, CUPE Québec launched a huge information campaign against the provincial governments efforts to import public private partnerships.

The union distributed more than 60,000 leaflets across Québec that cited examples of P3s that have emptied public coffers and decimated public services.

CUPE members started the campaign this week at 6:30 a.m. in several Montréal metro stations and plan to continue next week in Québec, Trois-Rivières, Sherbrooke, Saguenay, Outaouais, Abitibi, Bas Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie and Côte-Nord.
