CUPE BC has won the Canadian Association of Labour Medias award for best web site for the second year in a row and a CUPE video entitled Judy Darcy forever on the front line won the award for best video.

The annual awards were handed out at the organizations 2004 conference in Edmonton.

The Hospital Employees Union won the Muckraker Award for its campaign against the creation of a P3 hospital in Abbotsford, BC. And CUPE 873s newsletter, Code 3, won the award for publications in its category.

Organize magazine won the Ed Finn award for best feature writing for an article on custodians fighting for safer schools, which appeared in the September 2003 issue.

CALM offers labour news, graphics and other services to local unions. It has a membership of more than 500 local newsletters and union publications.
