On behalf of CUPE’s 627,000 members, National President, Paul Moist and Charles Fleury, national secretary-treasurer, offer their condolences to the family of Tara Lynn Veri, who died in an automobile accident on March 6, 2013, while on her way to see a client.

We are deeply saddened by this accident,” said Moist. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Tara Lynn’s family during this difficult time.”

Sister Veri, from Simcoe, Ontario, was a member of CUPE 1766 and a CAS case worker with the Haldimand and Norfolk Children’s Aid Society. She is survived by her husband Rene Veri and daughter Alexis.

On behalf of our members from across the country, we offer our deepest sympathy to Tara Lynn’s family, friends and colleagues and our CUPE family is thinking of them as we all mourn her loss,” said Fleury.
