(Halifax) – CanJet employees have reached a tentative agreement with the airline.

CUPE National Representative Marilyne White says, “While it has taken us one full year to reach a settlement, we have achieved a very good first agreement.  It should provide a basis for building a positive working relationship with CanJet management over the next three years.

“It will also provide a measure of control over our members’ working lives,” says White.

The members of CUPE Local 4044 will vote on the agreement at a ratification meeting on July 3 and 4 from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm at the UFCW Training Centre, 6331 Lady Hammond Road.

No details of the agreement will be released until after the ratification vote.
