(Sydney) – The union representing Cape Breton Regional Municipality’s (CBRM)  outside and transit workers will hold an information picket in front of City Hall tomorrow evening before the council meeting.

Members of CUPE Local 759 will hand out flyers starting at 5:30 pm, Tuesday December 11 for one hour.

The more than 300 members of CUPE Local 759 have been without a contract for over two years. 

Local 759 represents 310 CBRM employees who work in Public Works, Solid Waste, Transit, Arenas, Water Department, Water Treatment, Wastewater, Parks and Grounds, Building Maintenance as well as Cleaners and Janitors.
