VANCOUVER CUPE B.C.s report on its province-wide solidarity vote will hit the floor of convention on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The union has been conducting solidarity votes over the last six weeks in CUPE bargaining units across the province. The votes are an expression of what members are prepared to do to defend their collective agreements, jobs and communities from attacks by the Campbell Liberal government.

About 500 delegates are attending the CUPE B.C. annual convention at the Hyatt, which began Wednesday and concludes tomorrow afternoon.
