Lethbridge The union of the woman who saw her home explode this weekend has set up a fund for community members to assist the hospital worker in rebuilding her life.
The victim, whos identity has not been fully revealed to the public, is a CUPE member employed by the Chinook Health Region. She is a resident of Lethbridge and a single mother.
CUPE Alberta, along with the Health Region, have set up a fund to assist the fire victim. Lethbridge and area residents can contribute to the fund at the following locations:
- Any branch of the 1st Choice Credit Union - ask for the CUPE member assistance fund
- The CUPE Lethbridge office: 714 13 Street North (329-0266)
- CHR Foundation office at Lethbridge Regional Hospital
