Graduate Assistants at OISE, members of CUPE 3907, have ratified
a new collective agreement.
Financially the new contract includes an increase of 7.55 per cent over two years. In addition the new collective agreement has improved discrimination and harassment language, improved pregnancy, adoption and sick leave and new compassionate care leave.
“The negotiations were not easy,” said Ajamu Nangwaya, Chair External, CUPE 3907. “However, we’re pleased to have a new collective agreement that contains no concessions and leaves the door open to an increase in the membership of our bargaining unit.”
