CUPE’s 2009 long-term care tour might be making a stop at a city near you.

At tour events, we’ll make the connection that better staffing and working conditions result in better quality care in long-term care facilities.  And that privatization is not the solution to improving care for seniors.

Let’s strengthen our existing campaigns and work to achieve a federal residential long-term care program, extending medicare to seniors’ care.

CUPE is sponsoring long-term care advocates Pat Armstrong and Toby Edelman to share their expertise along with CUPE participants and coalition partners.
