October 2, 2002 (Fredericton) – Negotiators for CUPE Local 1418 and the provincial government reached a tentative agreement late this morning.

The 1265 members of local 1418, representing 13 groups of professionals who work with some of the province’s most vulnerable citizens have been on strike since September 4.

A province-wide ratification vote is planned for Thursday, October 3.
