A city officials P3-tainted past has come back to haunt him, costing him a new job as Waterloo, Ont.s chief administrative officer. The city fired Bob Robertson after 16 days on the job, claiming he failed to disclose his role in a failed P3 in Maple Ridge, B.C. An investigation by CUPE BC revealed the P3 to redevelop the citys downtown core was both legally flawed and tainted with wrongdoing. Robertson was Maple Ridges CAO during the P3s development. The city cancelled the P3 and took over the development itself.
