(Cobourg) Todays meeting of Northumberland County Council is being picketed by paramedics and other health care workers concerned about the privatization of ambulance services.

County Council meets today, May 15, 2000 at the Northumberland County Municipal Hall and Courthouse, on Williams Street in Cobourg.

Paramedics are picketing in front of the building on Williams Street.

Councils deadline for bids from private companies to take over the Countys ambulance services is noon today.
