SAULT STE. MARIE The union representing locked out workers at Community Living Algoma, Local 1880 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), announced today they will be resuming negotiations, at the request of the provincial mediator, on Monday, May 12th.

We have agreed, at the request of the provincial mediator, to return to the bargaining table on Monday to try and reach a settlement in this dispute, says CUPE 1880 spokesperson Matt Cavaliere.

Community Living Algoma locked out the workers on April 24th.
