The Play Fair coalition has released a second video ad, as part of its campaign to encourage sportswear brands to eliminate sweatshop abuses in their global supply chains.

On the eve of the Beijing Olympics, the international coalition of workers’ rights organizations put forward a series of demands – asking sportswear companies to up their game, and clear the hurdles to workers’ rights. Unfortunately, the two years since Beijing have seen little improvement.

The campaign has released a rating of the commitments that have been made by the sportswear brands – and is asking organizations and individuals to send letters to the sportswear brands, emphasizing that workers who make their products need safe, stable, and decent working conditions, and need to be paid a living wage.
