Expanding the Canadian Pension Plan remains a priority issue for CUPE, and it is important we keep working towards improving retirement security for all Canadians.
As part of the Retirement Security for Everyone Campaign, the Canadian Labour Congress is holding a series of Leadership Assemblies across Canada.
These meetings will bring together allies from the labour movement to strategize on how we can get the Harper Government to protect and expand the Canadian Pension Plan.
I would like to encourage all CUPE members to attend one of the sessions near them.
