CBRM has announced it will be cutting nine crossing guard locations, with 18 more slated for further review. That is a dramatic cut in guarded crosswalks for schoolchildren.

Join us for a rally on Wednesday, June 18 at 4:00 pm and let the Chief of Police, Mayor Clarke and council know how you feel about this decision. Parents, children and other supporters are encouraged to attend.

Attached is a photo-copiable flyer that can be used to spread the word and invite people to the event. CUPE Nova Scotia President Danny Cavanagh will be one of our key speakers.
