The union representing Videotron employees (SEVL-CUPE 2815) has announced that a tentative agreement has been reached with the employer.
“The union will recommend that this agreement be ratified. We will go ahead and organize general meetings so that the members can read the agreement,” explained Roger Boudreau, president of SEVL-CUPE 2815.
A special hybrid general meeting will be organized in the coming weeks to ensure that as many members as possible can take part.
The contract will not expire until next December 31, but the parties had agreed to seek mandates on both sides to begin early negotiations.
