OTTAWA A tentative agreement was reached early this morning after all night bargaining, avoiding a strike by teaching assistants at Carleton University, represented by Local 4600 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Details of the agreement will not be released until it is presented to the members for a ratification vote, expected some time next week.
