Flight attendants at Canadian Regional Airlines (CRA) are very happy with todays announcement that CRA will remain part of the Air Canada family. This announcement will mean a greater sense of security for CRA flight attendants after eight months of turmoil. Following an era of wage concessions the flight attendants look forward to bargaining improvements to their working conditions, benefits and wages, said Denise Hill President of the Airline Division of CUPE and a CRA flight attendant.

We view this as a positive announcement for consumers as we move to build one great regional airline with an excellent route structure, Hill said.

Flight attendants have been watching the changes in the airline industry very closely, there is no doubt that this latest announcement will be a positive move towards greater stability in the industry, added Hill.

The flight attendants at CRA are ecstatic this process is finally over. This has been a long haul for all the workers at CRA, and with this positive announcement we can now move forward with our lives, concluded Hill.
