Ambulance paramedics in BC have approved a new collective agreement.

This agreement advances us out of the 90s and will go a long way to address issues like staffing, training, response times and hiring said CUPE Local 873 president John Strohmaier.

In voting over the past two weeks, members voted 65 per cent to ratify the agreement. While not every paramedic in the province is happy with the deal, it was ratified by every region of the province said Strohmaier.
