Toronto In light of Mayor Mel Lastmans recent anti-black racist statements, his disingenuous apology and the inaction of Toronto City Council members, Torontos African Canadian Community will hold a press conference at City Hall tomorrow, Tuesday June 26, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. The community will be calling for the Mayors resignation and demanding that Toronto City Council be accountable to all the citizens of Toronto and the Citys employees and take action against anti-black racism and economic apartheid in Toronto.
