Regina Public School Board support workers are being offered less in their contract negotiations than the board’s other employees and teachers despite the longstanding practice of equal percentage pay increases.

In a newspaper ad appearing in the February 14 edition of the Leader Post, the union representing the support workers highlights the important jobs done by support workers—educational assistants, secretaries and maintenance staff—and urges the Regina Public School Board to restore equality.
