An ad hoc women’s coalition - which includes CUPE - has put together a short video on the Stephen Harper government’s treatment of women.
The coalition, which has also produced a cookbook is gearing up for a federal election which many anticipate for spring 2008.
Meanwhile the Canadian Labour Congress plans to launch a campaign on women’s economic equality on International Women’s Day, March 8.
