Locals 1393, 1001 and the University Of Windsor had requested that the National Union present an Harassment Awareness program for CUPE members at the University. Nine hours were alloted for the program, and it was presented in three parts. One hundred and twenty-eight CUPE members attended a three hour introductory program between Oct. 31 and Nov 2. Those members who were unable to attend will be provided with the introductory session before the whole group moves on to parts two and three.
The program was well received by all those who attended. Honest, open dialogue took place between the participants and the facilitators which laid the groundwork for the upcoming sessions.
