On Thursday, workers at La Farandole child care centre in Toronto voted unanimously to join CUPE.
“Caring for and educating our children is important work, and early childhood educators deserve respect. At La Farandole, workers are looking forward to improving their working environment and to being supported in raising concerns with management,” said Marc Lafrance, a CUPE representative who has been involved in the organizing drive.
