Water watchers have a new name to look out for. The latest known alias of water multinational Vivendi is Veolia Environnement. According to the company, the name comes from the ancient Greek for keeper of the winds. No matter what hot air they blow, watch out for Veolia trying to profit from water, wastewater, energy and transportation services. Vivendis other handles include US Filter, the name the corporation operates under in much of North America, and John Meunier, their Québec alias.
