Every year, CUPE issues audited financial statements, giving all members a clear picture of the union’s finances. The statements are independently audited by Deloitte & Touche and conform to accepted accounting practices.

In workplaces where nanomaterials are being used, the precautionary principle should be applied, and exposure to workers prevented until sufficient data can show there are no harmful effects on human health or the environment.

CUPE offers many tools to support locals during bargaining. They include CUPE National staff representatives​, specialist staff support, the Collective Agreement Information System, bargaining-related workshops, regional office support, and materials for bargaining committees.
