Whether you work in a college, university, school, or public library, all library workers provide Service For Everyone.  Library workers make libraries safe and welcoming spaces, and they help everyone find the services and supports they need.  This October, to celebrate Canadian Library Month, we are calling on all CUPE library workers and locals to make their own sharable image or video for social media, to tell Canadians about the important services that library workers provide.

How to participate

  1. Sign up using the form on this page.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email.
  3. Just before October 1st you will receive another email with links to your Library Month templates and a how-to-video
  4. Watch the video.
  5. Take a photo or a video of yourself or your co-workers, place it in one of the templates. Add your local number.
  6. Share your photo or video on social media with a caption about the important services that library workers provide.
  7. Create multiple shareable images and videos and post them to your personal or union social media accounts throughout library month.
