The union representing bus drivers employed by Autocars Skyport Inc., a private company, has signed a new collective agreement.
The five-year contract runs until January 31, 2027 and calls for wage catch-up totalling close to 15 per cent from the time it is signed, wage hikes pegged to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for 2023 to 2026 inclusive, including protection of at least 1.5 per cent and no more than 5 per cent.
Other gains were obtained, including the addition of vacation days, general holidays and floating leave days, in addition to enhancements of various premiums.
“Negotiations were respectful. We’re proud we were able to improve and protect the purchasing power of our members for years to come, while continuing to provide quality service to our clientele,” said CUPE union representative Daniel Morin.
Skyport, a division of Keolis Canada, specializes in the transportation of clients and crews of most airline companies from Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and for charters in Quebec and other person transportation services. Skyport also provides a shuttle service between the parking lot and the airport terminal.
