There are worrying reports from the trade union movement in Iran regarding ongoing persecution and repression of labour activists. CUPE is deeply concerned that labour activists and workers’ rights defenders are being prosecuted and imprisoned across the country, and we ask you to appeal to the Government of Iran to release these prisoners of conscience immediately and unconditionally.
