This list is for sharing news, research and ideas to oppose
privatization. It covers public-private partnerships, contracting-out,
competitive bidding and all other forms of privatization. Posts address
municipal, healthcare, education, and other public services - mainly in
Canada but sometimes in the UK, US and elsewhere. Participants include
progressive researchers and activists from unions, coalitions,
universities, community organizations, research institutes, and the
NDP. All participants can post to the list. CUPE administers the list,
approving new participants and screening for spam. Average number of
posts: one per day.
