Nova Scotians are into the final week of a very exciting provincial election campaign.



And two of our own activists are running for provincial office on August 5th – two members whove decided to put their money where the mouth is, and are running for the NDP.



Kim Cail, a VON worker, is running in Cumberland North and hospital worker Charles Muise has tossed his hat in the ring in Argyle.



The pundits all agree its a tight, three-way race with the NDP right in the thick of things.



NDP leader Darrell Dexter is running a strong campaign with his 7 key commitments for todays families. The platform includes 30 to 50 per cent lower auto insurance rates through a public system.
